I joined Parkers in 2007 and helped set up the Lettings department with Bruce Taylor, one of the founding Directors. My background prior to working for Parkers was at ING direct so well placed in dealing with the accounting side of the business. Since joining, our directors have grown Parkers from offices in Tilehurst and Burghfield Common to further branches in Theale, Tadley and most recently Spencers Wood. As such I have helped to grow the lettings portfolio overseeing the day to day processes of a busy office and the moving in process for our landlords and tenants, from point of agreeing the rent, incorporating the referencing through our online referencing platform, receipting in deposit, and moving in monies, making sure each of our properties has a gas safety certificate, Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) and Energy Proficiency Certificate (EPC) and finally the move in and key handover . I enjoy working with a very friendly team, we work very hard but most importantly we get on well and enjoy each other’s company. I feel I have in-depth knowledge of the lettings business having passed my ARLA Lettings exams in 2013 and I am always on hand to offer advice and guidance whenever it is needed. I thrive on knowledge and I’m a very organised person so this job is perfect for me. I live locally in Tilehurst with my husband Andy, as well as two of my three children Will and Zak, my daughter Charlotte lives locally with her husband and they have recently welcomed baby Arabella into the world, so I am delighted to be the doting Glam’ma! In my spare time I also enjoy reading, gardening, eating out and spending time with friends and family.
